SC Construction Starts to Increase by 2% in 2007

McGraw-Hill Construction's Research and Analytics division projects the total of single- and multifamily construction starts to fall 10 percent in 2007, to an estimated $7.6 billion total. The good news is that nonresidential construction starts should move up by 11 percent. This market is estimated to hit about $3.4 billion in '07, up from the '06 total of about $3.1 billion. Read the story.
